The Basic Ordering Process
Each month, we place raw meat orders with either Ross Wells Inc. or Midwest Legacy Beef LLC. Orders are collected through this webpage, and then one group order is placed with the supplier. Individual members submit their payments to Ruff Row Raw LLC, and then Ruff Row Raw LLC orders the meat, pays the suppliers, shipping companies, and handling facilities. We order from one supplier one month, and then the following month we will order from the other supplier.
Each month, members will receive an email notifying them that the ordering window is open, when it will close, and when the order will be delivered. Orders are placed monthly, but the time between deliveries varies between 4 to 5 weeks. Members will only be able to place orders during the ordering window listed in the email. This information will also be listed on this website on the page “Order Updates”.
Who Can Order
The web store where meat orders are placed is restricted to members of Denver Raw Feeders. To become a member, please click through to: Joining Denver Raw Feeders and complete an application. You must have a referral from an existing member to join this group.
Ordering Faqs
- You must be logged in to order. You create your login when you apply for membership. You order through the shop page (extreme top left of page on pc, or “hamburger” top left on phone”
- You choose your order pickup location on the checkout page.
- If you’re paying by Zelle you complete checkout and then must initiate payment through your bank and include your order # on the payment so that the system will match the payment with the order.
Product Delivery
The product is delivered to 3 locations in Colorado, where members pick up their orders. These locations are:
Denver: Mile High Cold Storage, 5115 Peoria St., Denver 80227
Colorado Springs: Romar Enterprises, 721 Nichols Blvd, Colorado Springs 80919
Lasalle: 21750 WCR 35, Lasalle, 80645 (note this is not a cold storage facility. Members are encouraged to assist sorting the product, and pickups must be made promptly)
We are restricted in the number of pickups we can make at the Denver Pickup Location, so all new members will have to coordinate pickup of their order with another member (new members can pick up an existing member’s order, or the existing member can pick up the new member’s order). In addition, orders for pickup at the Denver location must be at least 120#. If you want to order less than #120 combine your order with another member’s order.
Referrals:
New members are added to Denver Raw Feeders by existing member referrals only. Membership is a privilege, not a right. A lot of work is required to keep this group operating smoothly, and members must abide by our rules and cooperate to make the ordering and pick-up process as seamless as possible.
If you’d like to refer someone, have them apply with your name and email as the referrer. Please also send me a notification (email/text/message) that you have referred them.
This website replaces our google spreadsheet order process.
